Locksmith Scammer's Special Report
Angie's List (a member paid on-line service for finding local contractors at www.angieslist.com) recently released this article regarding locksmith scams. I am contacted weekly by companies claiming to be legitimate locksmiths but are really only a shell company. Earlier this week, one wanted 50% of every contract they send to me. When I explained that this was rather high, they said that they inflated their advertised rates to compensate! I promptly hung up. These promises of "increased profits" and "large government contracts" may entice the novice locksmith, but legitimate, experienced locksmiths know to avoid these scams. I hope you enjoy the following article and be sure to call me or another reputable locksmith the next time you need your locks worked on.Key C. Powell
