Tony Marino was offered and accepted the position of Vice-President on Thursday 4th June. The announcement came after Brian Smith decided to step down due to increasing business committments.

Karl Gibbons, President of N.A.P.L.E.S. said "I am delighted to announce that with immediate effect Tony Marino has agreed to accept the role as Vice President of the Naples Area Professional League of Executive Services. His strength of character, direct no nonsense approach (which I have always respected – Tony can never be described as a “yes man!”) coupled with his elder statesman experience is an invaluable asset to the group. Tony’s service and commitment to the community of SW FL is well documented together with his roles and connections in many other business organizations makes him the perfect choice and I am proud to have him as my VP and look forward to working with him and the rest of our excellent and dedicated executive team to take the N.A.P.L.E.S. group onto even greater success.

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking Brian Smith, who, due to the increasing success of his new business venture Adz2Mobile and the inevitable pressure and demands on his time and management resources decided that in the best interest of the group he would step down from the VP role. Brian continues to be a valued member of the N.A.P.L.E.S. group."

Tony Marino commented "I am delighted to know that Karl is delighted that I have accepted the Joe Biden position. I promise that I will remain that fine gentleman you all know me as; quiet, with a laid back attitude. Okay lets be serious, I am not a public speaker, if I don't like something I will let you know as a lot of you know. But when I do make a commitment I keep it. My promise and also the same challenge to the group as Karl's we will have 100 members by Dec. 31, 2009. I will provide a limo for the night 4 hr. to the member that brings in the most members. I'm sure with might get a restaurant or some other commitments to get us motivated. We have a great diversified group of business leaders . In these trying times for all of us, We need to bond & make this a group businesses want to join."
