Be sure to bring your cell phone, as though we are EVER without it, to Thursday’s meeting and learn how to “text in” to receive valuable updates pertaining to our group. Dolphin can help us all build powerful marketing sms text campaigns.

“Texting is becoming the preferred way to share information. It’s a way that in our busy, active lifestyles, we can stay informed with reminders or pieces of information that we need, perhaps before we next have the opportunity to be in front of our computers,” said Mark. “Most business people today are out there meeting and making more business and that is especially true of the N.A.P.L.E.S. group members. We are part of this network and here is a wonderful new way for us to stay connected.”

Cyr pointed to iPads and cloud technology that enable people to work from more sophisticated mobile devices. He said bandwiths are opening up for the mobile community. “It will be a whole new wave of Wi-Fi coming out,” he added.   

Here is an example, wouldn’t it be helpful to get a message that reminds you that this Thursday is the next meeting, or that you can stop by the Ritz Carlton on September 9 for a quick “bite,” even if you might have forgotten about the special event and now the evening has opened up for you. A text message reminder will come right to your phone!  

Note that you must have texting service capabilities. It is free for the N.A.P.L.E.S. Group, but you may get charged by your mobile company. Check your plan to ensure that you have sufficient service for incoming and outgoing text messaging.
